OccuPoetry seeks poetry about economic justice/injustice, greed, protest, activism, and opportunity. Submissions need not be limited to Wall Street’s greed nor US-based poets; we consider the Occupy Movement a world-wide movement for a more just world. Our tastes are eclectic, and we are most impressed by strong writing. Our previous issues are the best guide to the kind of poetry we publish.

OccuPoetry accepts all forms of poetry. We use submittable for submissions. Please submit no more than three (3) poems at a time, uploading them all in one document. We review submissions monthly; response times may take up to two months. We understand the realities of poetry submissions and therefore accept simultaneous submissions. Please inform us by email if a poem that you submitted to OccuPoetry is accepted by another journal before we have a chance to reply.
